BACO Group of Companies began with the establishment of BACO Setia Sdn. Bhd., which was started as an Oil & Gas materials and supply company by a group of young entrepreneurs in 2007. Equipped with confidence and an immense desire to succeed, the team worked tirelessly to make BACO Setia the major industry player that it is today. Such tremendous growth in such a short time is a testament to the tremendous capability and potential of BACO Setia Sdn. Bhd.. From its humble beginnings as a single company, BACO has now grown into a fully-fledged, successful business venture with four companies under its wing, each with a specific focus in the Oil & Gas industry.

Looking to build upon value-added products and services, the group first expanded in 2008 to include BACO Engineering Sdn. Bhd., which specialises in locally fabricated formed heads and tube bending. On top of providing a vital service to our clients, this endeavour was also aimed at improving local knowledge and specialisation in the field of fabrication. The year 2009 saw the creation of BACO Construction and Services Sdn. Bhd. in order to fill the void in the service sector for the Oil & Gas industry. This venture marked the BACO Group’s first foray into the service sector for the Oil & Gas industry.

In 2009, BACO Machinery & Resources Sdn. Bhd. was formed to provide rental equipment and resources for construction and maintenance works, further complementing the service division of BACO Group. The latest addition to the group, BACO Crane and Heavy Lifting Sdn. Bhd. was formed in 2010. Aiming to be a major player in the fabrication of pedestal cranes, BACO Crane and Heavy Lifting serves a market which is undersupplied in Malaysia and South East Asia. Partnering with a globally known principal, this endeavour marks BACO’s first step as a fabricator and is seen as a long term strategy to further expand BACO’s services and products.

Within a short period of time, BACO has grown to become a recognised name which is associated with high quality products. By introducing innovative business and boldly paving new paths while providing high quality products and services to its peers, BACO dedicates every effort to ensuring that its mission and vision will contribute meaningfully to the country.
